Book describes Mulholland's idea to create the Los Angeles Aqueduct and then narrates the aqueduct's creation. Book also contains plentiful pictures of the aqueduct and area surrounding as well as portraits of important people related to the aqueduct's construction. Map of the area and a profile of the aqueduct in graph form are also included.
